Meet Team Jacaranda | Tiffany Cook, Sales and Marketing Executive

1.) Who are you and how long have you been at Jacaranda Books?

I’m Tiffany, the Sales and MArketing Executive. I’ve been at Jacaranda for 3 and a half years, before this was completing my post graduate in Publishing at Kingston University; which is where I heard about Jacaranda.

2.) What drew you to the publishing industry?

Books have been a quiet constant throughout my life, both of my grandmothers are big readers and I’ve always loved to lose myself in a story. I didn’t consider a career in publishing until I completed my undergraduate degree. I was looking for a career path where I could utilise the skills and media knowledge I’d gained. I noticed the call for better diversity in the books that were being published and wanted to be a part of the change in the industry and bring diverse stories to the forefront of Arts and Culture.

3.) What is your favourite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is getting to talk to people about our books. Whether it’s pitching to a literary festival, a bookshop or another partner I love telling people about the work we do.
